My passion is memoir and autobiography—it’s what I love to read and prefer to work on. As an editor, book coach, and ghostwriter, I help authors focus their stories and bring them to life with clarity and detail. I work as a freelance editor and ghostwriter with Author Bridge Media and Book Launchers as well as my own clients.
I have worked as a writer for twenty years, starting in public relations and journalism. While ghostwriting and editing my father’s memoir in 2013, I discovered a love for the genre and a knack for capturing an author’s voice. Since then, I have ghostwritten and edited memoirs, autobiographies, and non-fiction books on topics ranging from leadership to dating advice.
Certified as an editor by Poynter in partnership with ACES: The Society for Editing, I keep my skills sharp with regular workshops through the Editorial Freelancers Association and ACES. I also write reviews of memoirs for the New York Journal of Books. I earned my bachelor’s in American Studies from Williams College and a master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University. I spend my spare time with my husband, two kids, and one-eyed pointer mix.
