Neva Sullaway is an author, editor and publishing consultant based in San Diego, CA. Sullaway has authored three non-fiction books with maritime themes: Chasing Dreamtime - A Seagoing Hitchhiker's Journey through Memory and Myth (multi-award winner, 2005); Sailing in San Diego - A Pictorial History (1991); One with the Wind - A Guide to Windsurfing in Australia (1980), and she contributed to A Diver's Guide to the West Coast (1972). While living in Australia, Sullaway was a photojournalist (1977-1982) covering sailing events and she developed a monthly sailing publication. After returning to the U.S., she studied film in San Francisco and produced an award-winning short film, Woodcarver. Sullaway published the Maritime Museum of San Diego's Journal of Pacific Maritime History for ten years (2006–2016), as well as their newsletter. She is currently project manager for Ocean Magic Productions. Sullaway serves as a freelance editor and publishing consultant and has guided several authors successfully through the publishing process.
